Take On: Transparency

Angels For Change and United States Pharmacopeia, USP, "Take On" Transparency: Make the Invisible Visible. The Take On Lunch and Learn Series was created to work collaboratively with health system decision makers to identify and tackle the obstacles that lead to drug shortages.

USP CEO, Ron Piervincenzi will provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities we face in tackling the obstacle of transparency. Followed by a solutions focused facilitated brainstorming.

The United States Pharmacopeia was created nearly 200 years ago, dedicated to instilling trust where it matters most: in the medicines, supplements and foods people rely on for their health. The global medicine supply is vulnerable to disruptions that lead to drug shortages, as well as, increases in substandard and counterfeit medicines. Through initiatives like the Medicine Supply Map, a project that aims to identify, characterize and quantify risk in the upstream medicine supply chain, USP is working to improve the resiliency of the US and global medicine supply chain.

Angels for Change is on a mission to end drug shortages through advocacy and awareness and ensure access to life-saving drugs.
