Building on the success of its groundbreaking first phase, Angels for Change has launched Project GOLD Phase 2, expanding the nation's first collaborative initiative designed to protect cancer patients from drug shortages. With new manufacturer and distributor partners and an expanded portfolio of 15 high-risk oncology medicines, Phase 2 strengthens a proven model built on strategic U.S.-based buffer supply, early warning systems, and cross-sector collaboration. Following the successful protection of patient access during the national leucovorin shortage, Project GOLD continues to demonstrate that when industry leaders unite around a shared commitment to patients, together we can build a more resilient pharmaceutical supply chain and help ensure lifesaving cancer treatments remain available when patients need them most.
